ArcelorMittal Hamburg produces green electricity
Three new wind towers have been put into operation at ArcelorMittal Hamburg's plant, in cooperation with Hamburg Energie, the city's municipal green electricity supplier, Kallanish notes.
Each with a capacity of 3 MW, and about 180 metres in height, the three plants produce around 23 GWh a year, which would meet the electricity requirements of more than 8,000 households. They were manufactured by Nordex, and mark another contribution to sustain…
