Al Jazeera breaks ground on UAE sections mill
Oman's largest tube and sections producer Al Jazeera Steel (AJS)'s wholly owned United Arab Emirates subsidiary, Al Jazeera Steel Products Co, broke ground last week for its new medium sections mill
Located in Khalifa Economic Zones Abu Dhabi (KEZAD), the new mill will have a design capacity of 450,000 tonnes/year and have rail production capability. The investment cost is AED 250 million ($68.07m), Kallanish notes.
