AK, UAW ink new labour contract at Zanesville
US steelmaker AK Steel and the United Auto Workers labour union have reached a new long-term agreement for the employees at the company’s Zanesville, Ohio works, Kallanish learns from a company release.
UAW Local 4104 has ratified the three-year agreement, which will cover the 110 production employees at the works through 31 May, 2022.
AK produces flat-rolled electrical and stainless steels at the Zanesville works.
