Aisha Steel orders CR mill from SMS
Aisha Steel Mills (ASML) has contracted SMS to supply a twin-stand reversing cold mill with a design capacity of 500,000 tonnes/year, Kallanish learns from the German technology provider.
ASML will be able to produce strip in widths from 650-1,250mm and minimum final gauges down to 0.15mm. The mill, the third supplied by SMS to the Pakistani cold roller, is scheduled for commissioning in early 2019.
