Ahmsa gets go-ahead to build cogeneration plant

Mexican steelmaker Ahmsa’s mining subsidiary, Minera del Norte (Mimosa) has obtained a 40-year authorisation to develop a cogeneration plant at its coal mine located in Coahuila, North Eastern Mexico, Kallanish learns. The new power plant will be fed with the methane gas produced by the site.
