Ahmsa says no long closure for fire-damaged mill
Altos Hornos de México (Ahmsa) tells Kallanish that its cold rolling mill number 2 will resume operations in the next few weeks as planned. The mill was halted when a fire broke out earlier last week. This follows comments by a local mining trade union to local media, suggesting that the steelmaker could not restart the production line until the beginning of 2018.
