Ahmsa sees on-year losses quintuple in 2015
Altos Hornos de Mexico (Ahmsa) posted major year-on-year losses for 2015, Kallanish learns from a Mexican Stock Exchange (BMV) filing. The company has completed construction of a new power plant at its Coahuila site.
Ahmsa reported losses of MXN 4.3 billion ($240 million) for 2015 although sales volumes were relatively similar to those in 2014. The deficit is five times bigger than the losses of MXN 841.6m filed in 2014.
