Ahmsa revenue and earnings fall in first quarter
Steelmaker Altos Hornos de Mexico (Ahmsa) posted a -11.3% year-on-year drop in revenue in the first quarter of 2016, Kallanish learns from a Mexican Stock Exchange (BMV) filing. The decrease is mostly due to the -30% fall in average product prices compared to the same period in 2015, the company says. Sales volumes meanwhile increased y-o-y.
