Aferpi ramps up production in Piombino
Italian steelmaker Aferpi, now part of India's JSW Steel, has restarted the bar mill at its Piombino works. The bar mill was idled in 2016, the company highlights in a note.
According to a union representative who spoke to Kallanish, the bar mill has restarted because some orders have come in and will run through February with one week's stoppage.
