Acerinox says N.America stainless recovery stronger than Europe
Global stainless steel supplier Acerinox says the recovery in demand for stainless steel is stronger in North America than it is in Europe.
While in North America demand and production has now gone back to some 90% of normal levels, in Europe it is still at 75-80%, the company’s president, Rafael Miranda, said during a press conference ahead of its third-quarter results next week.
