Acerinox expands NAS capacity with new cold mill
Acerinox, the Spanish-headquartered stainless steel supplier, says it will invest $244 million at its North American Stainless (NAS) plant in the US. The upgrade will enable the unit to expand its annual output capacity by some 20%, or 200,000 tonnes, Kallanish learns from the company.
NAS produces almost 50% of the stainless steel in the US.
