Acerinox buys Germany's VDM Metals
Global stainless supplier Acerinox tells Kallanish that it has expanded its special alloys business having acquired the German manufacturer VDM Metals from Lindsay Goldberg Vogel GmbH and Falcon Metals BV.
The agreement is valued at €532 million ($586.9m). Acerinox will pay €310m and assumes debt amounting to €57m, as well as pension plans and other obligations for €165m, the company confirms.
