Acerinox boosts production and profit in 2016
Acerinox, the Spanish-headquartered global stainless steel producer, has boosted significantly both production at its plants as well as profits, Kallanish understands from the company’s annual results.
The company reached an all-time record level for cold-rolled production at 1.7 million tonnes (up 6.6% year-on-year). Crude steel production was the second highest ever recorded at 2.47mt (up 6.7% y-o-y).
