Acciaierie di Sicilia seeks government energy cost curbs
Rebar maker Acciaierie di Sicilia, part of Alfa Acciai, is preparing to implement a long August maintenance stoppage due to current “prohibitive energy costs”, the steelmaker says. The mill already reduced output in June and July and is planning to mothball the plant for the entire month of August.
