Acciai Speciali Terni restarts after four-day halt
Italian stainless steelmaker, Acciai Speciali Terni (AST), restarted operations at the beginning of this week after a four-day stoppage linked to the coronavirus emergency in the country.
At the end of last week workers staged a two-day strike to force the management to take further actions to limit the impact of the coronavirus on the workers. During the weekend then the plant underwent a series of cleaning and sanitising treatments, Kallanish notes.
