New Algeria steel plant project set to break ground in March

Algeria’s Ministry of Industry and Mines says that work on the construction of the Bellara steel complex located in the Jijel region of North-East Algeria, will begin early in March 2014. According to Algerian media, the plan, developed as a joint venture between Qatar Steel and Algerian state-owned company Sider, will follow a two-phase program.
