WTO finds against USA on Chinese, Indian CVDs
The World Trade Organisation (WTO) released two panel reports on 14 July that call into question US countervailing duties (CVDs) on some steel imports from China and India. The reports found that the USA acted inconsistently with the WTO’s agreement on subsidies and countervailing measures and recommends that the USA bring its duty regime into line with the agreement.
