WTO backs EU and Japan on China anti-dumping duties
The World Trade organisation (WTO) has come up broadly in favour of Japan and Europe in its ruling on China’s imposition of antidumping duties of seamless stainless steel tubing, Kallanish learns.
The anti-dumping action, taken by China in 2012, was appealed by first Japan and then by the EU in 2013. In 2014 China imposed duties of between 9.2% and 14.4% on Japanese tube and 9.7% to 11.1% on EU tube imports.
