Vale sees another record quarter for iron ore production
In its latest production report sent to Kallanish, Brazil’s Vale says that it delivered a strong operational performance in the first quarter of 2015. Although iron ore production fell significantly from record-breaking Q4 14, the company again saw all-time highs and achieved the best-ever Q1 output.
Vale produced its highest-ever first quarter tonnage in Q1 15. Output of 74.5 million tonnes of iron ore was up by 4.9% on Q1 14.
