Usiminas copes with recession better than Evraz, says Moody's
Brazil’s recession will be less severe than Russia's in 2015, which will mean a more favourable operating environment for Usiminas than for Evraz, according to Moody’s.
In a report comparing the Russian and Brazilian producers, Moody’s Vice President – Senior Credit Officer Barbara Mattos says the two countries both face recession in 2015, a weak growth outlook in 2016 and low investment ratios.
