USW inks four-year labour deal with Salit Steel
Rebar fabricator and service centre Salit Steel of Niagara Falls, Ontario, has signed a new four-year deal with the United Steelworkers labour union, Kallanish learns from a company release.
The deal with USW Local 14241 is retroactively effective to 1 September 2015 and covers about 100 employees. It was ratified by 74% of the eligible voting membership.
