US Steel, union talks continue as labour contract expiration looms
Labour negotiations between the United Steelworkers (USW) union and flat rolled producer US Steel continue, but big issues have yet to be resolved as the 1 September contract expiration deadline quickly approaches. Representatives from both Pittsburgh-based organisations have been meeting regularly this week, and talks are expected to continue over the weekend.
