UK manufacturing growth slows again in September
The UK manufacturing sector slowed further in September according to the latest Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) survey monitored by Kallanish. At 51.6, down from 52.2 in August, the headline seasonally adjusted Markit/CIPS Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) posted its lowest reading for 17 months in September, the Institute says.
