UK manufacturing expands for the 26th consecutive month in May
The latest Markit/UK Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) survey monitored by Kallanish indicates that UK manufacturing sector output growth upticked slightly in May. A solid domestic market continued to offset lacklustre demand from overseas, Markit says.
