UK manufacturing PMI falls in August as output growth slows
The Markit/UK Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) survey for August, monitored by Kallanish, shows a slowdown in UK manufacturing sector growth. Demand for UK exports continues to decrease and fell for the fifth successive month.
