Turkish exporters rebuff Erdemir subsidy claim in US pipe import probe
The Turkish Steel Exporters’ Association (CIB) has rebuffed the claim made by US pipemakers that Erdemir is a state-owned company providing coil at subsidised prices to Turkish pipemakers. CIB has asked the US Department of Commerce (DOC) to “consider all the facts” when making its final determinations in the countervailing duty investigation (CVD) into welded line pipe imports from Turkey.
