Turkish exporters foresee pick-up after shipments decline again in February
The Turkish Steel Exporters’ Association (CIB) expects steel exports to recover in the coming months following their discouraging start to 2015. Adverse political and economic conditions at home and abroad saw January-February shipments decline -12.8% year-on-year to 2.6 million tonnes. Export value fell -21% to $1.8 billion, according to CIB.
