Canada launches probe into China-origin line pipe
The Canadian government has initiated, at the request of domestic line pipe producers, a new trade case investigating line pipe imports from China. The complaint was filed by Evraz Inc NA Canada, Canadian National Steel Corp, Tenaris Global Services (Canada), Algoma Tubes Inc, and Prudential ULC.
The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) began its investigation on 28 August. A preliminary determination will be issued by 26 November.
