Tougher export markets offset UK manufacturing PMI uptick

The latest Markit/UK Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) survey, monitored by Kallanish, concludes that start of the third quarter saw conditions in the UK manufacturing sector remain relatively subdued.
