Tougher export markets offset UK manufacturing PMI uptick
The latest Markit/UK Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) survey, monitored by Kallanish, concludes that start of the third quarter saw conditions in the UK manufacturing sector remain relatively subdued. Export demand continues to decrease.
