Tanggang boosts autosheet capacity
Northern China’s Tangshan Iron and Steel, part of Hebei Iron and Steel Group (Hegang), has installed its new 1.5 million tonnes/year cold rolling mill. The plant, supplied by the China Metallurgical Group (MCC) is part of plans to increase the quality of Hegang’s products to be more competitive both domestically and on the export market, Kallanish notes.
