Steel prices hold as real estate slowly recovers
Chinese steel futures prices saw minimal gains on Wednesday. Official data continue to show increasing real estate sales and even a slight improvement in residential real estate investment. The recovery remains painfully slow however and is unlikely to spur steel demand until it picks up pace, Kallanish notes.
