Steel material and applications patents increase in Germany
Patents for steel materials and applications in Germany over two decades have been increasing, with 4,300 applications submitted in 2014, against around 2,000 that was the standard figure in the early 1990s. Since 2010, the annual growth rate has increased from 3% to 6%, according to Hans-Jürgen Kerkhoff, president of federation WV Stahl.
