Spanish steel production remains stable in 2014, whilst imports grow 10%
In 2014, Spanish mills produced a total of 14.2 million tonnes of steel, with no significant change from 2013 when output was 13.8mt, Spanish steelmakers' association Unesid tells Kallanish.
Total exports of steel products in 2014 reached 9.9mt, bringing revenues of approximately €7.5 billion - a fall of 1% compared to the previous year.
