Slovenian Steel Group's new AOD unit to increase SS plate output
Special steelmaker Slovenian Steel Group (SIJ) has signed a €30 million ($33.2m) deal to purchase an argon oxygen decarburization (AOD) unit from Primetals Technologies. The investment is part of SIJ’s plan to increase stainless steel plate and special steels production.
