September Port Hedland ore shipments to China slide by 7% from August
Iron ore shipments from Port Hedland in Western Australia to China rose again year-on-year by nearly 30% in September, according to statistics released by Port Hedland Port Authority and monitored by Kallanish. Month-on-month however the story was much different with shipments falling by 7% from August’s peak of just over 32 million tonnes.
