Brazil distribution sector flat product sales fall in Q1 2015
Sales of flat products in the Brazilian distribution sector fell by -16.2% year-on-year in the first quarter 2015, Kallanish learns from the Brazil steel institute, Instituto Aço Brazil (IAB).
Between January and March 981,600 tonnes of flat steel products were sold by Brazilian distributors compared to 1.17 million t in the same period of 2014, IAB says. March sales increased by 11.9% compared to February but fell by -9.3% y-on-y to 337,500t.
