SSAB makes good progress with cost synergies after Ruukki acquisition
Sweden’s SSAB says that it is making good progress with “the work to achieve synergies” following the acquisition of fellow Scandinavian steelmaker Rautaruukki in mid-2014. To date actions have been taken by the company by which savings of SEK 300 million ($347m) have been achieved, Kallanish learns from the company.
