Red October works on speciality grades for military applications
Russian stainless steel producer Red October is looking into producing new specialty steels and alloys for use in the state armament programme, Kallanish learns. The steel company was visited last month “by a group of experts from other Russian metallurgical enterprises, research institutes, companies and consumers of special steels,” according to a company statement.
