Record Q2 14 production performance at Vale the iron ore beat goes on
Brazil’s Vale has continued what appears to be a growing global trend in iron ore output and has produced record figures for the second quarter of 2014. In a statement sent to Kallanish, the iron miner says that the company “…reached 79.4 million tonnes of iron ore production, the best performance ever for a second quarter, with gains in all production systems when compared to Q1 14”.
