Qatar Steel revenue down 8% in H1 as output falls
Qatar Steel (Qasco)’s revenue fell -8% on-year in the first half of 2015 to QAR 2.89 billion ($793.8 million), while net profit declined -27% to QAR 533.7m, Kallanish learns from parent company Industries Qatar.
IQ’s consolidated revenue including its petrochemical and fertiliser joint ventures declined -3% to QAR 7.56 billion, while net profit fell -15% to QAR 2.42 billion.
