Qatar-Algeria JV steelworks could be operational in 2017
The prospective Qatari-Algerian joint venture direct reduced iron-based rebar steelworks in Jijel, north-eastern Algeria, could become operational as early as the first quarter of 2017. This is according to Algerian industry and mining minister Abdessalem Bouchouareb, quoted by the official Algerie Presse Service.
