Prospective Turkish-Japanese jv orders tinning line from SMS
Japanese-Turkish cold roller, coil coater and tinplate joint venture Tosyali Toyo Celik has ordered an electrolytic tinning line from SMS Siemag. Once commissioned in 2016, the line will produce up to 255,000 tonnes/year of very thin steel sheet coated with a fine layer of tin as corrosion protection, Kallanish learns from the German plant supplier.
