Primetals to supply equipment for Evraz Regina mill upgrade
Primetals Technologies will upgrade and supply the new equipment for Evraz North America’s previously announced $200 million upgrade of its steel mill in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada.
Primetals will install a new, 135-ton-twin-vacuum tank degasser and also modernise the existing slab caster and plate and Steckel mill. The new equipment is slated to be installed by the fourth quarter of 2016, Kallanish notes.
