Port Hedland monthly China iron ore shipments hit 2015 high
Total iron ore shipments from Port Hedland in Western Australia’s Pilbara region to China grew to a 2015 high in June, according to statistics released by Port Hedland Port Authority and monitored by Kallanish.
June was the busiest month of the year so far for iron ore despatches. Total global monthly iron ore export volumes from the port were the highest so far in 2015 as was the average tonnes/day shipped figure.
