Port Hedland iron ore shipments uptick in April
Total iron ore shipments from Port Hedland in Western Australia’s Pilbara region to China dipped slightly month-on-month in April, according to statistics released by Port Hedland Port Authority and monitored by Kallanish. Total global monthly iron ore export volumes from the port also fell during the month, and tonnes shipped per day fell for the third month in a row.
