Port Headland unions threaten work stoppage
Iron ore exports from Australia’s Port Headland could be disrupted by strike action after tugboat workers approved the possibility of work stoppages, Kallanish underrstands.
The Maritime Union of Australia, the Australian Maritime Officers Union and the Australian Institute of Marine and Power Engineers have all approved use of an unlimited number of short stoppages but have yet to finalise any action.
