Polish distributor appoints new ceo
Janusz Smolka has been appointed chief executive of Poland’s third-largest steel distributor, Konsorcjum Stali (KS), replacing Robert Wojdyna who served since 2007. Smolka was previously director of strategy at stockist and fabricator Huta Pokoj.
Marcin Mista and Dariusz Bendykowski have simultaneously been elected chief commercial and chief financial officer respectively.
