NSSMC cuts output to reduce inventory
Japan’s Nippon Steel and Sumitomo Metal Corporation (NSSMC) will see crude steel production down 10% over April-June from January-March, according to its latest investor presentation. The company says it hopes domestic steel inventories to fall as a result, despite a slowdown in demand.
