Mobarakeh Steel sells over 65,000t of flats on IME
Iran’s largest steelmaker, Mobarakeh Steel, sold over 65,000 tonnes of steel on the Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) this week, Kallanish learns from IME.
The producer sold one 26,174-tonne lot of hot rolled coil at a base price of IRR 14.1 million/tonne ($475.5), and another 32,837t lot at IRR 14.35m/t base price. It also sold a 5,143t consignment of cold rolled coil, 3,977t lot of hot-dip galvanized coil and 1,376t lot of tinplate.
