Mobarakeh Steel increases output 9% in January-July
Mobarakeh Steel increased crude steel production 9% on-year in January-July to 4.39 million tonnes. Included in this was its largest subsidiary Hormozgan Steel, which produced 11% more at 683,154t, Kallanish learns from Iran’s largest steelmaking group.
Mobarakeh was recently certified to have its API X42, X52 and X60 grade plate used in the production of pipe to supply Iranian Offshore Oil Company (see Kallanish 28 August).
